The problem formulation of this research are: 1) What maxims are often violated by students during lecturer and students interaction? 2) How do are students violate that maxim? 3) What are the speaker reasons in violating of maxim?
The methodology chose in conducting this research is qualitative method. Data processing in this research is divided into three phase: observation, recording, interview.
The subject of this research are The Students of Even Semester TA 2016/2017 and English Lecturers at the time of lecture PPB.
Result of the analysis, revealed that there are 53 Maxim Dialogues. Those contains Maxim of Quantity 37 dialogues with percentage 69,8%, Maxim of Quality 7 dialogues with percentage 13,2%, Maxim of Relation 7 dialogues with percentage 13,2%, Maxim of Manner 2 dialogues with percentage 3,7%.
