The teacher is an actor in the world of education and the story manuscript
is the curriculum. Without teacher’s roles, the world of education will
experience such a big problem. This research was a field research intended
to understand how technology has changed teacher’s role and responsibility
in their jobs. To understand this change, serial of in-dept interview,
observation and documentation techniques were successfully done to 10
school teachers of Junior High School in Temajuk. The findings of this
study were technological developments made the obligations of a teacher
even greater. As consequence, the teacher's roles were not limited to
teaching only as the the purpose of education to prepare students were not
only as experts in intellectual but also as individual with good manner and
characterisation. Similarly, if the role of the teachers were not only as
teaching role but also have a good values both in school and outside the
environment. In other word, the teachers were not only produce people
with highly intellectual but also produces manners and manners. Apart
from teacher models, the role of the curriculum in educational institutions
is very important so that it was not only as a series of teaching and
learning processes document, but also provide the values of educational
philosophies intended shaping the character values of children.
